This model has the perfect expression and body-language to represent the essence of Zettai Ryouiki, or “Absolute Territory”:

“Absolute Territory” (zettai ryouiki (絶対領域) in Japanese) describes the area of bare skin exposed on the thighs between the skirt and stockings or socks for female characters . The term and the trope come from anime and manga, with the term being used as an homage to the AT fields in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Since a Zettai Ryouiki is defined by the length of the stockings or socks, some people have categorized them into grades depending on the length of the socks. This ranking system goes from Grade F to Grade A . However, only Grades A (and thus S) and B are considered Zettai Ryouiki.

Since it is, by nature, a sensual costume, it’s a common trait for The Ingenue who is already aware of her attractiveness but not (yet) cynical enough to put it to use.” (TV Tropes.org)

As you see, the characters that wear Zettai Ryouiki styles in Japanese manga and anime are basically “ingenuous”: they recognise their attractiveness, but don’t capitalise on it. I think that it’s rather different from the Western perception of girls wearing over-knee or thigh-high stockings or socks: Google the term and the connotations are almost always purely erotic….
